Job summary

Vandey Global Services seeks an experienced diamond grader to assess polished diamonds by industry standards, focusing on 4Cs and overall characteristics. The role requires precise evaluation and independent judgment.

The incumbent will utilize advanced grading software and equipment, follow SOPs, and participate in continuous quality control, collaborating with graders and gemologists to maintain grading consistency across projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a diamond grader in a renowned laboratory
• 5+ years as a diamond grader in renowned diamond manufacturing companies
• Complete knowledge of 4Cs (Cut, Carat Weight, Color and Clarity)
• Diamond grading course from a renowned laboratory
• Able to finalize clarity, polish and symmetry independently
• Diamond inclusion plotting experience
• GIA Lab work experience will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess polished diamonds based on industry grading standards including evaluating the 4Cs and assessing the diamond's overall characteristics.
• Utilize advanced diamond grading software and equipment to evaluate and measure diamonds.
• Follow the company's standard operating procedures for diamond grading and ensure compliance with industry guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing quality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision in diamond grading. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and rectify any issues or discrepancies in the grading process.
• Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments, trends, and techniques in diamond grading.
• Work closely with other diamond graders, gemologists, and professionals within the company to exchange knowledge and maintain consistency in grading standards.

Requirements :

2+ years of work experience as a diamond grader in any of the renowned Laboratory or 05 years+ of experience as a diamond grader in any of the renowned Diamond manufacturing companies Complete knowledge of 4Cs. (Cut, Carat Weight, Color and Clarity)

Diamond grading course. (Renowned Laboratory)

Able to finalize clarity, polish and symmetry independently.

Diamond inclusion plotting experience.

GIA Lab work experience will be an advantage.

Educational qualifications:
