Job summary

Divinelane Private Limited is seeking a skilled Diamond Grader to join our Jaipur showroom/offices. You will evaluate diamonds using the 4Cs, verify certificates, and ensure inventory quality control in a fast-paced jewellery environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on grading experience, strong knowledge of 4Cs, and relevant gemmology certifications. Work is from office, 6 days a week, with Sundays off, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in diamond grading or quality assessment.
• Strong understanding of the 4Cs of diamonds.
• Knowledge of diamond characteristics, inclusions, treatments, fluorescence, cut, polish, and symmetry.
• Hands-on experience with diamond grading and gemmological equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good documentation and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Grade diamonds based on the 4Cs and established quality parameters.
• Assess clarity, inclusions, fluorescence, cut, polish, symmetry, and proportions.
• Use gemmological instruments and diamond grading equipment for evaluation.
• Verify diamond certificates and maintain grading records.
• Inspect incoming diamond inventory and support physical stock verification.
• Identify natural, treated, and lab-grown diamonds where applicable.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality standards in diamond evaluation.
• Provide technical support to sales and customer support teams when required.

About the Role

Divinelane is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Diamond Grader to handle diamond grading, quality assessment, certification verification, and inventory quality control.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the 4Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat, with hands-on experience in diamond grading.

• Diploma / Certification in Gemmology or Diamond Grading.
• GIA, IGI, GII, HRD, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in a diamond showroom, jewellery store, diamond trading, or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lab-grown diamonds and diamond treatments.
• Experience handling premium or high-value diamonds and jewellery.
• Marathi language proficiency is an added advantage.
