GeM Inside Sales Executive (Bids and Order Execution)

Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a GeM Inside Sales Executive who will manage bids and orders from the desk, evaluate bid documents, and coordinate with OEMs for pricing and MAF. This is not an entry-level role; prior GeM bidding experience is required.

You will track bids daily on GeM and other portals, prepare complete bids, handle EMD/ePBG, and coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, and invoicing through the portal, ensuring compliance and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; commerce preferred.
• 1–3 years on the seller side of GeM, submitting bids and handling orders.
• Clear understanding of GeM bid documents, MAF, ATC, reverse auctions, EMD, ePBG and CRAC.
• Careful with documents and deadlines; able to handle many bids at once without missing a detail.
• Good with Excel and email.
• English, Hindi and Gujarati, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Track new bids on GeM and other government e-procurement portals every day, and shortlist the ones we can qualify for
• Read each bid document in full: eligibility, specifications, ATC, delivery period, EMD and ePBG, Make in India and MSE clauses, and flag anything we cannot meet before we commit
• Get prices and the Manufacturer's Authorisation Form (MAF) from OEMs and distributors for each bid, well before the deadline
• Build working relationships with OEM and distributor contacts so that we receive preferential pricing and quick authorisations
• Prepare and submit complete, error‑free bids, and take part in reverse auctions within the limits set by the Head of Operations
• Raise EMD and ePBG requests to the accounts team with the amount, beneficiary and deadline, and track them until them in place
• After an award, accept the contract on the portal and work with the procurement team to place the order with the OEM
• Track dispatch to the buyer and coordinate delivery and installation between the OEM and the buyer until the work is complete
• Complete every portal step after the order: invoice & delivery and installation details
• CRAC follow‑up and payment follow‑up
• Keep our GeM seller account, catalogue and documents current
• Keep a bid register and report weekly and monthly: bids reviewed, submitted, won and lost, with the reason for every loss

Role overview

As GeM Inside Sales Executive, you will run bids and orders from your desk. You will read each bid closely and decide with your head whether we qualify. You will get pricing and the Manufacturer's Authorisation Form (MAF) from OEMs. You will prepare and submit complete bids. After an award, you will take the order through procurement, dispatch, delivery, installation by the OEM, and every step on the portal until payment.
This role is for someone who has already submitted bids and handled orders on GeM. It is not an entry-level telecalling or general inside sales role.
