Job summary

Volcafe in Bengaluru is seeking a Functional Analyst – Finance to support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance across global operations. You will provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues, participate in testing, and help ensure effective use of the system within Finance processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing Finance & Accounting modules in Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Extensive experience with core financial and logistical business processes.
• Experience as part of a team delivering complex integration projects.
• Deep knowledge of Finance, including GL/AR/AP, Cash/Bank, Fixed Assets, Cost Management.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Experience in Financial Reporting & Analytics concepts.
• Implementation experience of the Dynamics 365 Finance module with certification.
• Good skills across other Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics technical landscape: SQL, AOS, SharePoint.
• Experience with SureStep and Agile methods; strong presentation skills.
• University graduates in computational discipline; commodities ERP experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide post implementation support to end users onsite and offshore.
• Handle incoming support issues via ticketing system and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in and manage customer support projects.
• Proactively address daily operational concerns.
• Become highly proficient with using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Develop knowledge of Commodities Business Processes (Coffee).
• Troubleshoot and analyse application-related issues and resolve problems.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and provide feedback.
• Deliver continuing education to customers on how to use Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Document inquiries and reported problems; share resolutions implemented.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to discuss issues and best practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participate in special projects and system testing as required.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Functional Analyst – Finance to work in a truly global environment, providing functional support, implementation assistance and postimplementation support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance across our global operations, reporting to the Project Delivery Manager. The role will work closely with business users and the D365 implementation team to support global rollouts, troubleshoot functional issues, participate in testing and validation, and help ensure the effective use of the system across Finance processes. The role provides long-term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment.

This role will be based in Volcafe office in Bangalore, India.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide post implementation support to end users onsite and offshore

• Participate in and manage customer support-focused projects
• Proactively address daily operational concerns
• Become highly proficient with using Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Develop knowledge of Commodities Business Processes (Especially Coffee)
• Troubleshoot and analyse application-related issues and solve problems
• Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with “customers”
• Provide continuing education to “customer” on how to effectively use Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Document “customer” inquiries and reported problems and provide feedback and resolutions implemented
• Collaborate with other cross-functional team members to discuss “customer” issues and resolutions and to share best practices
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
• Participate in special projects and system testing as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience implementing Finance & Accounting modules in Dynamics 365 ERP
• Extensive experience working with core financial and logistical business processes
• Experience as part of a team delivering complex integration projects
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Finance, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets and Cost Management
• Good knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards
• Experience in Financial Reporting & Analytics concepts
• Implementation experience of the Dynamics 365 Finance module, including appropriate certification
• Good skills across other functional capabilities of Dynamics 365
• Good understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics technical landscape, including SQL, AOS and SharePoin
• Experience of Microsoft SureStep and Agile methods
• Good presentation and demonstration skills
• University graduates with a relevant degree within a computational discipline
• Experience of enterprise-scale ERP implementations for commodities business is desirable
• Experience of physical commodities business is desirable
