ED&F Man Group in Bengaluru invites applications for an AI Enablement Analyst focused on the Coffee division. You will optimize the day-to-day supply chain across origin to customer, leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual effort and improve speed and visibility.
You will work with global teams to map workflows, create practical prototypes, and implement AI-assisted processes while ensuring accuracy and auditable outputs in a fast-paced commodities environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as an AI Enablement Analyst within the Coffee division, based in Bangalore, India,, and to work in a truly global environment.
Based in Bangalore within Volcafe’s Supply Chain Global Business Services group, the AI Enablement Analyst helps optimise the day-to-day tasks of the group and streamline the physical coffee supply chain from origin to the end customer. The role centres on the end-to-end flow of green coffee – origination, contract execution, shipment and logistics, inventory, quality, documentation, certification, invoicing, and settlement – finding where the process can be streamlined leveraging technology and AI. The role follows Bangalore business hours, aligned with global handoff needs.
Working hand in hand with cross-functional teams and colleagues around the globe – origin, operations, logistics, trade, finance, quality, and compliance – the analyst maps how coffee actually moves and where friction, duplication, and manual effort slow it down. They turn those insights into clearer workflows, better data, and practical improvements that raise speed, control, and visibility across the supply chain lifecycle, and that hand off cleanly between regions and global teams.
AI and automation are core enablers rather than the objective. Every recurring manual task is challenged, with the analyst applying AI, automation, and analytics to remove low-value effort so the team can focus on exceptions, judgement, and decisions. This is a hands‑on, operations‑close role for someone who understands the how supply chains operate and is comfortable getting into operational details.
The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast‑paced soft commodities environment
