Maersk India is seeking an experienced FTL Trucking Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for India road transportation. You will drive cost leadership, vendor governance, and TCO analysis across middle-mile corridors.

The role requires strong PAN India trucking procurement expertise, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with Product, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver competitive cost models and reliable service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in road transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Minimum 2 years core procurement experience, preferably in FTL trucking.
• Experience managing high-value procurement portfolios and vendor relations.
• Strong negotiation, contract governance, and supplier performance skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory.

We are looking for an experienced FTL Trucking Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for India road transportation. The role will focus on cost leadership, vendor performance, contract governance, and operational reliability across middle-mile corridors. The ideal candidate will bring strong trucking procurement expertise, deep PAN India vendor relationships, analytical capability, and experience supporting customer RFQs with competitive cost models and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FTL trucking procurement across India, ensuring cost, commercial, and operational alignment.
• Manage vendor negotiations, SLA finalization, contract governance, and supplier performance.
• Build and maintain a strong PAN India vendor network across regional and national transporters.
• Support customer RFQs with pricing inputs, cost models, market insights, and competitive recommendations.
• Drive supplier market intelligence, rate benchmarking, TCO analysis, and should-cost modelling.
• Use digital procurement tools, dashboards, and rate repositories to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Global Category teams to align procurement strategy with business growth.
• Travel across India to engage with vendors, operational hubs, and key logistics markets.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in road transportation, logistics, trucking, or supply chain.
• Minimum 2 years of core procurement experience, preferably in FTL trucking.
• Experience managing high-value procurement portfolios, ideally INR 200500 Cr+ annual spend.
• Strong vendor negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance management skills.
• Deep understanding of India trucking markets and established PAN India vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in TCO analysis, should-cost modelling, cost benchmarking, and data-driven decision-making.
• Comfortable using digital procurement systems, dashboards, analytics tools, and rate management platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Product, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Commercial teams.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory.
