Job summary

Genpact India Pvt. Ltd. invites a Front Line Manager - HRO to lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely payroll closure and compliance with tax rules.

You will coordinate with Banking, HR, and Accounting teams, perform variance analyses, support audits, and mentor the payroll team in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment in Pune (Hybrid work in India).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Analytics preferred.
• Certifications CEBS or PHR are advantageous.
• Experience with global payroll and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Workday Payroll and payroll processes.
• English proficiency at least B1 level.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations and ensure timely payroll closure.
• Review payroll-related taxes and oversee monthly tax filings.
• Coordinate with Banking for salary disbursement and tax payments.
• Manage payroll activities including monthly variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Provide documentation and support for internal/external audits.
• Maintain collaboration with Hiring, C&B, HR, and Accounting teams.
• Mentor payroll team to improve performance and efficiency.

• Mentor and guide the payroll team to optimize performance and ensure process efficiency.
