Job summary

India Retails & Hospitality Pvt Ltd invites applications for a Hostess at Susegado Microbrewery Goa. You will be the front-facing ambassador, greeting guests, managing reservations and seating, and guiding guests through bar & café offerings to ensure a memorable visit.

Qualifications

• Female candidate with minimum 2 years of hospitality experience in a bar or café setting in Goa.
• Minimum height requirement: 5 ft 3 inches and above
• Excellent communication skills in English and regional language
• Strong knowledge of bar and café operations, beverages, and food offerings
• Prior Experience with Renowned Establishments: Preference for Goa venues such as Boiler Maker, Thalassa, and other premium establishments

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations and walk-in guest seating to optimize table utilization and customer flow

Position Overview

The Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a pivotal role in creating exceptional customer experiences at Susegado Microbrewery Goa. As the front-facing representative, the Hostess is responsible for setting the tone of the visit, ensuring seamless guest flow, and driving customer satisfaction while generating additional business through outstanding service and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a memorable first impression
• Manage reservations and walk-in guest seating to optimize table utilization and customer flow
• Provide comprehensive knowledge about the bar, café, and microbrewery offerings to guide guest selections
• Ensure adherence to bar and café operational procedures and standards
• Maintain exceptional grooming standards and present a professional appearance at all times
• Oversee overall guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring satisfaction
• Identify upselling opportunities and actively promote premium offerings and special packages
• Participate in marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team to improve market penetration from arrival passengers, including engaging and welcoming passengers at arrival gates and other strategic touchpoints

Required Qualifications

Essential Criteria

• Female candidate with minimum 2 years of prior hospitality experience in a bar or café setting in Goa
• Minimum height requirement: 5 ft 3 inches and above
• Excellent communication skills in English and regional language
• Strong knowledge of bar and café operations, beverages, and food offerings
• Exceptional grooming standards and professional appearance
• Prior Experience with Renowned Establishments: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience at renowned bars and cafés in Goa, including but not limited to: Boiler Maker, Thalassa, Other premium hospitality establishments in Goa
