Job summary

Aéromé in Mumbai is seeking a Fragrance Evaluator to join our team, going beyond merely saying a fragrance smells good and helping shape scent identities for premium brands, spaces, hotels and experiences in India.

You will evaluate fine fragrances, conduct sensory evaluations, identify notes and accords, and work closely with our perfumers and development team to meet briefs and client expectations. Passion and a discerning nose matter most.

Qualifications

• Experience in fragrance preferred; exceptional nose and passion matter more than formal experience.
• Must be able to articulate what you smell.
• Understand fragrance families, notes and accords.
• Have a highly trained nose or discerning sensory ability.
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
• Curiosity about perfumery and the fragrance industry.
• Ability to evaluate objectively rather than personal preference.

• Evaluate fine fragrances, ambient fragrances, perfumes and fragrance compositions
• Conduct sensory evaluations and provide structured olfactory feedback

You should have the nose, curiosity and sensitivity to understand why a fragrance works, where it belongs, how it evolves and what emotion it creates.

• Evaluate fine fragrances, ambient fragrances, perfumes and fragrance compositions

What we’re looking for
