Job summary

Eurofragance India is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to spearhead the setup, commissioning and ongoing management of its new fragrance and allied batch processing facility in India.

The role requires hands-on builders with deep experience in blending systems, reactors, utilities and safety, with a track record of building and mentoring production, warehousing and maintenance teams to achieve regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15+ years of manufacturing experience with exposure to plant commissioning projects.
• Proven track record in setting up fragrance, flavour, specialty chemical or allied batch manufacturing facilities.
• Strong understanding of blending operations, stirred reactors, utilities, process safety and warehouse operations.
• Experience recruiting and developing operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield plant setup, installation, qualification and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate contractors, engineering partners, equipment suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Commission blending vessels, batch reactors, storage systems, utilities and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop SOPs, manufacturing processes, maintenance systems and operational controls.
• Build and lead production, warehouse, maintenance and support teams.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Drive productivity, cost optimization, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Establish KPIs covering safety, quality, service, inventory and plant performance.

What's your mission?
