Job summary

Swedium Global in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer to design and implement FPGA-based Radio and RAN Compute solutions. You will work with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems.

The role requires 5+ years of FPGA development, HDL (Verilog/VHDL), and experience with Vivado or Quartus. Familiarity with PCIe, AXI4, DDRX, SPI, I2C, and scripting languages is preferred, with a focus on performance and power efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FPGA development experience.
• HDL (Verilog/VHDL) proficiency required.
• Experience with FPGA design tools such as Vivado/Quartus.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (DDRX, AXI4, PCIe, SPI, I2C).
• Scripting (Python, Tcl, shell) is a plus.

Responsibilities

including academia and industry trends in AI and Machine Learning
• Document design specifications, test procedures, and results
• Participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas to improve
FPGA solutions

Required skills
• 5+ years of experience in FPGA development
• Comprehensive knowledge of:
• FPGA technology, design environments, and design methodologies
• FPGA design tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus, or similar)
• Hardware description languages (HDL), such as Verilog or VHDL
• Experience with various communication protocols—DDRX, AXI4, PCIE, SPI,
I2C, embedded processing
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, shell scripting, etc.
• Familiarity with hardware architecture and digital signal processing

Preferred Skills
