Job summary

IT Consulting LLP is hiring for Finance & Accounting openings in Maharashtra. We are expanding our Finance & Managed Services team and seek talented finance professionals to join its growing team!

Mandatory requirements include CA with 2-4 years post-Articleship or IPCC with 8-10 years post-Articleship, strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes (TDS, GST), and month-end close, MIS reporting, and financial statements experience.

Qualifications

• CA with 2-4 years post-Articleship experience or IPCC with 8-10 years post-Articleship experience.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws (TDS and GST).
• Hands-on experience reviewing books of accounts and driving month-end close to deadline.
• Experience preparing MIS reports, analysis, and quarterly financial statements.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review client accounts regularly and ensure month-end close is completed on schedule.
• Prepare and review MIS reports and analysis for client management.
• Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Review deliverables and flag risks to avoid client escalations.
• Review team's work for correct deduction and payment of TDS and GST.
• Apply working knowledge of tax laws across client deliverables.
• Coordinate with auditors for submissions and clarifications.
• Lead day-to-day work allocation and ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review client accounts regularly and ensure month-end close is completed on schedule

• Coordinate with internal, limited review, and statutory auditors for submissions and clarifications
• Lead the day-to-day work allocation, queries, and accurate, timely project delivery for the team
• Create and revise policies, templates, and processes in line with regulatory and client needs
• Maintain professional relationships, trust, and confidence with clients and team members.

Good to Have

• Experience in client-facing roles for an accounting, VCFO, or shared-services environment
• Exposure to accounting platforms such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP
• Experience managing client portfolios across multiple industries or geographies
• Exposure to automation of accounting workflows and reporting dashboards
