Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
Taxation
- Company and LLP Formation
- Conduct tax planning and advise clients on optimising their tax positions.
- GST/ PAN/ TAN/PT Registration
- Prepare and file income tax & GST returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Provide support during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
- Handling Scrutiny Assessment Matters and drafting replies in response to various notices issued.
- Preparing and filing appeals, submissions.
- Research on the latest direct tax and Indirect tax issues.
- Preparing Transfer pricing report
Auditing
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Review and assess internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert financial advice to clients on matters such as investment planning, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
- Analyse financial data to assist clients in making informed business decisions.
Compliance
- Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations and ensure clients' compliance with relevant laws.
- Advise clients on regulatory issues and assist in obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, addressing client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is the minimum requirement.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience working in a CA firm or a similar financial role will be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
