Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage VCFO operations for multiple startup clients. The role involves bookkeeping, finalization and MIS reporting, with emphasis on taxation compliance, GST and related duties.

Ideal candidates will have 2–6 years of experience, preferably from a CA firm, and strong MS Office/Tally skills, plus knowledge of QuickBooks, Zoho or Winman. Fast-paced environment, on-site role in Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications

• M.Com / B.Com / Semi Qualified CA with 2–6 years of experience, preferably from a CA firm.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Tally; knowledge of QuickBooks, Zoho and Winman is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage VCFO practice for startup clients, including bookkeeping, finalization and MIS reporting.
• Handle direct and indirect taxation, GST, TDS and related compliances.
• Assist in financial due diligence during client funding and provide ongoing financial advisory.
• Support team members and act as primary SPOC for clients, ensuring queries are resolved within TAT.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients and help retain existing engagements.

Who are we looking for?

Looking for an experienced resource preferably from CA Firm who will be able to execute the finance and accounts operations for multiple startup clients.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Manage the VCFO practice focused on start-up clients including assisting them in bookkeeping, finalization, MIS reporting, etc.
• Extensive practical knowledge in direct and indirect taxation and related compliances
• In-hand practical experience in managing statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Income-tax. etc.)
• Assistance in financial due diligence while the client is raising an investment
• Provide ongoing financial and tax advisory to clients
• Assist in the work of team members
• Client’s primary SPOC and participation in strategic discussions
• Retaining existing clients and solving functional queries within TAT

What are the key requirements for the role?

• M.Com / B.Com / Semi Qualified CA
• 2 to 6 years of experience (preferably with a CA firm)
• Proficiency in using MS Office and Tally
• Add on knowledge in Quickbooks, Zoho, Winma
• Excellent Analytical skills and Communication Skills (Written and Oral)
