Job summary

Oyela Technologies Private Limited in Gurgaon is seeking a Founder’s Office - Operations lead to own the end-to-end operational backbone of the business, spanning production, warehousing, logistics and inventory.

You will monitor KPIs, perform RCA, set SOPs, guide demand forecasting and drive cross-functional strategic projects with the founder.

This high-visibility role requires data-driven thinking, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and the ability to move fast in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in D2C, eCommerce, fashion ops or startup environments.
• Strong data analytical skills and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
• Basic Python and SQL knowledge.
• Understanding of operations, sourcing, inventory planning and SKU lifecycle in fashion/apparel.
• Excellent communication and time management; proactive attitude.
• Ability to work directly with founders in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product flow from handover to inline QC pass and prevent leakage.
• Own cataloguing process tracker end-to-end and keep it live.
• Track warehousing and logistics KPIs; perform RCA and set new SOPs.
• Monitor inventory valuation and aging; flag slow-moving capital.
• Forecast demand and decide on order quantities.
• Drive new ops projects from scoping to rollout and adoption.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects for growth.
• Advise founder on operational strategy, vendor evaluations, cost optimization.
• Demonstrate bias for action and execution across tasks.

Job Title: Founder’s Office - Operation (D2C Fashion & Apparel)

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 3–6 years (D2C/eCommerce/Fashion ops preferred)

About Us

We're looking for an ownership-driven operator to sit in the Founder's Office and run the operational backbone of Oyela. You'll be the single point of accountability across Production, Warehousing, Logistics and inventory — monitoring performance daily, diagnosing deviations through root-cause analysis, fixing them with new SOPs, and driving demand and order-quantity decisions. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives on data, process, and getting things done end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the product flow from handover through to inline QC pass, ensuring no leakage between stages.
• Own the cataloguing process tracker end-to-end and keep it live and accurate.
• Monitor warehousing and Logistics KPIs daily, run root-cause analysis (RCA) on any deviation, and set new SOPs to fix and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor inventory valuation and aging; flag slow-moving and blocked capital.
• Monitor future demand forecasts and take order-quantity decisions accordingly.
• Drive new project implementation within Operations — from scoping to rollout to adoption.
• Own and drive cross-functional strategic projects that fuel business growth – new channel experimentation, tech implementation, process automation, etc.
• Act as a thought partner to the founder for operational strategy, vendor evaluations, and cost optimization projects.
• Bring a bias for action, curiosity, and execution rigor to everything from daily tasks to high-stakes initiatives.

Reporting

• Provide weekly MIS from operation team to Founders
• Key tracking metrics like planning, budgeting, inventory position, inventory aging, return metrics, CSAT score
• Do RCA for any fluctuations of any metrics

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in D2C, eCommerce, fashion ops, or startup environments.
• Strong Data analytical skills, Excel/Google Sheets wizard
• Basic Python and SQL.
• Understanding of Operations, sourcing, inventory planning and SKU lifecycle management in fashion/apparel is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management, and a "get-things-done" attitude.
• Ability to work directly with founders and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setup.
