Qualifications

  • MBA in Hospital Administration or Healthcare Management is required.
  • Experience managing hospital floor operations is mandatory.
  • Certifications in Hospital Administration are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the hospital floor and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nursing, reception, lab, pharmacy for patient care.
  • Monitor patient flow and minimize waiting times through inter-department coordination.
  • Address queries and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures and quality standards.
  • Supervise front office and operations staff to maintain service excellence.
  • Monitor cleanliness and presentation of care areas with housekeeping.
  • Prepare daily operational reports for management and during emergencies.

About the Opportunity

Osprey International is hiring on behalf of one of its clients, a well-established healthcare provider based in Malappuram, Kerala. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centric healthcare services and is seeking an experienced and proactive Floor Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the facility and ensure a seamless patient experience.

Position Summary

The Floor Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring efficient coordination between departments, maintaining high standards of patient service, and supporting smooth clinical and administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and prior experience in hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the assigned hospital floor and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, reception, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor patient flow and minimize waiting times by ensuring efficient coordination between departments.
  • Address patient and attendant queries, concerns, and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
  • Supervise and support front office and operational staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of patient care areas in coordination with housekeeping.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and elevate critical concerns to management when required.
  • Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates to the reporting manager.
  • Support departmental coordination during emergencies and high patient volumes.
  • Promote a positive patient experience through effective communication and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
  • MBA in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications in Hospital Administration or Healthcare Operations will be considered an advantage.
Experience
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare administration is mandatory.
  • Experience managing day-to-day hospital floor operations and coordinating multiple departments is preferred.
