Job summary

Shyamoli Paribahan seeks a seasoned Fleet Manager to optimize operations across our passenger transport network in Telangana. You will oversee vehicle compliance renewals, quality checks, and maintain a digital Vehicle Health Card for every bus using Fleet Management Software.

Role involves tracking KMPL, investigating fuel waste, coordinating preventive maintenance, and managing drivers and crews with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• MBA in Logistics/Supply Chain or B.Tech in Automobile Engineering/Mechanical required
• Experience in Fleet Management Software required
• Excel/Data Analytics expertise
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage renewals for vehicle compliance (road tax/permit)
• Quality checking of buses and implement improvements
• Maintain Vehicle Health Card for each bus using Fleet Management Software
• Track KMPL and investigate fuel inefficiencies
• Coordinate preventive maintenance during low-demand periods
• Oversee driver and crew management
• Use telematics data to rate drivers on safety and efficiency
• Conduct soft-skill and grooming workshops
• Resolve conflicts between drivers
• Manage duty rosters and hours-of-service compliance
• Monitor live tracking and alert systems

Job description

• Manage all renewals for vehicle compliance (like road tax/ road permit).
• Quality Checking of the bus and providing solution for improve the quality of the bus.
• Maintain a digital "Vehicle Health Card" for every bus in the fleet using Fleet Management Software (FMS).
• Track KMPL (Kilometres Per Liter) for every bus and driver. Investigate fuel theft or mechanical inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager to schedule preventive maintenance during "low-demand" periods to ensure maximum bus availability during festivals (Durga Puja, Eid).
• Driver & Crew Management
• Performance Tracking by using telematics data to rank drivers on safety, speed, and fuel-efficient driving.
• conduct regular workshops on "Soft-skill and “Grooming".
• Resolve the conflicts between drivers.
• Duty Roster to manage complex driver rotation schedules to ensure compliance with "Hours of Service" regulations and prevent driver fatigue.
• Live Tracking for ensure the Shyamoli Live Tracking system is functional on all passenger-facing apps.
• Monitor real-time alerts for over-speeding, harsh braking, or unauthorized route deviations.

Candidate Skills

• Candidate must have MBA in Logistics/Supply Chain or B. Tech in Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical.
• Must have experience in Fleet Management Software.
• Within 35 years Male candidates required for this position.
• Flexible for Shifting duties.
  
• 5–7 years in large-scale passenger transport or logistics.
• Expert in Excel/Data Analytics and Fleet Management Systems with decent communication.
• Must be able to manage a diverse workforce, from high-tech Volvo engineers to long-distance drivers.
