Job summary

Idexcel is hiring a Fixture Design Engineer in Pune with 5-7 years of experience. The role involves MIG exhaust welding fixture concept design, 3D finish, and producing manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. Design racks, trolleys, and related tooling while ensuring quality checks on 3D models and 2D drawings.

BOM creation and part selection support are required, with shift work as per project needs. The ideal candidate will have a BE and strong communication skills to collaborate across teams

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-7 years in fixture design and welding tooling.
• Proficient in MIG welding fixture concepts and 3D finish.
• Ability to create manufacturing drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design MIG exhaust welding fixtures and assembly fixtures.
• Create racks, trolleys, carts, and related tooling.
• Perform quality checks on 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Support BOM creation and part selection.
• Study engineering changes and feasibility.
