Job summary

Total Environment is seeking a Finishing Engineer to ensure safety and quality at project sites through close coordination with frontline workers and the design and site operations teams. The role involves on-site planning, billing, and execution with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to maintain schedule and budget compliance.

Candidate should have BE Civil Engineering, 4–9 years of experience in residential construction, and proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; willingness to travel PAN

Qualifications

• BE Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience in finishing work in residential construction is preferred.
• Willing to travel PAN India and coordinate with frontline workers.

Responsibilities

• On-site planning, billing and execution of activities.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain site stores and ensure safe, quality-driven project delivery.
• Collaborate with Design, MEP, Quality and Central warehouse to integrate works.

Job description

Finishing Engineer

Role Purpose

We are looking for passionate, self-driven individuals who have effective analytical & problem-solving abilities. The individual should be fully responsible for ensuring/delivering Homes with safety & quality at the project sites through closed loop coordination with the frontline workers, the Design & site operations team.

Areas of Accountability

On site day to day Planning, billing and execution of the activities. Daily, weekly & monthly report submission and maintenance of site-stores. Establish site setup to receive materials and execute.

Preferred candidates

1. 4-9 years experience in a reputed residential construction company. Minimum 2 years experience in finishing work.
2. B E Civil Engineering mandatory
3. NICMAR/Construction management certificates are added advantage
4. Willing to travel PAN India
5. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (for BOQ cross-checking), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Deliverables

1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implement appropriate safety measures required at projects.
2. To maintain the company drawings, documents, specifications and other details confidential. Zero tolerance
3. Collaborate with project team members (Design, MEP, Quality, Central warehouse) to integrate all the works seamlessly with overall project objectives, providing technical support and guidance as required.
4. Ensure the project is on track. Schedule compliance
5. Deliver project as per the approved budget. Budget compliance
6. Identify, develop and have a strong vendor base for all the activities
7. Deviation from the drawings and specifications shall be zero.
8. Submission of progress reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis as per the rules set by the management

• Daily reports by end of the day.
• Weekly report by every Friday
• Monthly report every 28th

• Take complete ownership of the all the site inventories
• Check contractor bills with measurements ethically and approve.
• Closure of As-built drawings within 7 days of Handover
