Job summary

Navya Nexus is seeking a Manager Project Finance & Bank Coordination to manage lender relations, debt financing and documentation for renewable energy projects. The role requires strong project finance expertise and proactive coordination with banks and NBFCs.

The candidate should have experience in developing DPRs, financial modelling and pre-disbursement conditions, with travel to branch locations as needed.

Qualifications

• MBA required with Finance focus
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance or related lending/advisory roles
• Experience in renewable energy/solar projects preferred
• Strong financial modelling skills, especially Excel-based DCF and DSCR analyses
• Understanding of project finance structuring and debt-equity arrangements
• Knowledge of PSU and private bank credit processes for infrastructure/renewable energy lending
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to manage multiple financing/loan files and meet deadlines
• Fluent in English and Hindi

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with banks and NBFCs for term loans, working capital facilities and bank guarantees for renewable energy projects
• Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and complete credit/loan documentation
• Develop and maintain project finance models covering: DCF, DSCR, IRR, NPV, debt-equity structuring and sensitivity analysis
• Review sanction letters and ACALs and ensure compliance with tender EMD/PBG requirements
• Coordinate with lenders and internal teams for pre-disbursement conditions and milestone-linked fund releases
• Prepare MIS and financial statements required by lending institutions
• Manage bank guarantee validity, renewals, escrow accounts and margin money requirements
• Maintain regular communication with banks, NBFCs and stakeholders via professional channels
• Track multiple loan files and ensure timely closure of documentation and lender requirements
• Support debt financing processes for renewable energy/infrastructure projects

About the Role

We are hiring a Manager Project Finance & Bank Coordination for a growing renewable energy/infrastructure business.

The role will be responsible for managing relationships with banks, NBFCs and financial institutions, supporting debt financing for solar/renewable energy projects, preparing financing and credit documentation, coordinating loan processes, and ensuring timely fund disbursements linked to project milestones.

The ideal candidate should have strong project finance, financial modelling, lender coordination and documentation experience, with the ability to manage multiple financing requirements and drive closures within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with banks and NBFCs for term loans, working capital facilities and bank guarantees for renewable energy projects.


• Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and complete credit/loan documentation packages.


• Develop and maintain project finance models covering:




• DCF


• DSCR


• IRR


• NPV


• Debt-equity structuring


• Sensitivity analysis




• Review and analyse sanction letters and ACALs and identify gaps against tender EMD/PBG requirements.


• Coordinate with lenders and internal project teams for pre-disbursement conditions and milestone-linked fund releases.


• Prepare and submit MIS and financial statements required by lending institutions.

Requirements

• MBA – Finance is mandatory.


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project finance, infrastructure finance or related lending/financial advisory roles.


• Experience in renewable energy/solar projects is preferred.


• Strong hands-on financial modelling skills, particularly Excel-based DCF and DSCR analysis.


• Understanding of project finance structuring and debt-equity arrangements.


• Good knowledge of PSU and private bank credit processes for infrastructure/renewable energy lending.


• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.


• Ability to independently manage multiple financing/loan files and work against tight deadlines.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.


• Willingness to travel to bank branches and financial institutions when required.
