Job summary

MetaMorph in Gurgaon is seeking a hands-on Chartered Accountant with 4–10 years of post-qualification experience to build and own the finance function for a fast-growing FMCG/D2C brand.

You will manage end-to-end accounting, month-end close, GST/TDS/ROC compliance and MIS, with direct exposure to founders and future fundraising discussions. Lead a scalable finance team as the business scales.

Qualifications

• CA with 4–10 years post-qualification experience is required.
• Strong accounting, tax and audit exposure.
• Experience in FMCG/D2C finance functions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting, month-end closure, reconciliations, vendor payments and banking processes.
• Manage D2C and marketplace reconciliations including gateways, settlements, returns and COD collections.
• Oversee GST, TDS, ROC and other compliance work with external consultants as needed.
• Build and maintain MIS, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and working capital reporting.
• Track profitability by SKU and channel; monitor margins and inventory.
• Set up scalable finance SOPs across procurement, inventory, sales and payments.
• Support audits, financial modelling and fundraising activities.
• Build the finance team as volumes grow.

We’re looking for a hands-on CA to build and own the finance function for a fast-growing, Shark Tank-backed FMCG/D2C brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own accounting, month-end closure, reconciliations, vendor payments and banking processes.


• Manage D2C and marketplace reconciliations, including payment gateways, settlements, returns, refunds, commissions, TDS/TCS and COD collections.


• Oversee GST, TDS, ROC and other finance-related compliances, working with external consultants where required.


• Build and maintain MIS, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and working capital reporting for the founders.


• Track SKU-wise and channel-wise profitability, gross margin, contribution margin, inventory and other key business metrics.


• Set up scalable finance SOPs and controls across procurement, inventory, sales, payments and month-end closure.


• Support statutory audits, tax audits, investor diligence, financial modelling and future fundraising requirements.


• Build the finance team over time as transaction volumes and business complexity increase.
