Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Ensure GST inputs & TDS deductions and timely filing of returns.
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns & monthly 2B Reconciliation) and TDS compliance.
• Manage daily banking operations including vendor payments, fund transfers, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Handle ad hoc projects such as cost analysis, financial modeling, and ERP-related tasks.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee core financial operations including vendor management, fixed asset tracking, general ledger scrutiny, taxation compliance, banking coordination, and audit support. This role demands a strong grasp of GST and TDS regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to manage diverse financial tasks efficiently.

1. Key Responsibilities

a. Vendor & Payables Management

• Oversee invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Ensure accurate GST inputs & TDS deductions and timely filing of returns.
• Monitor vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

b. Fixed Asset Management

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support asset audits.

c. General Ledger Scrutiny

• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve ledger discrepancies during monthly and year-end closings.

d. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns & monthly 2B Reconciliation).
• Oversee TDS compliance, including payment, return filing, and issuance of Form 16/16A.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.

e. Banking & Treasury

• Manage daily banking operations including vendor Payments, fund transfers, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.

f. Audit & Reporting

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely submission of required documents.

g. Ad Hoc Financial Tasks

• Handle special projects such as cost analysis, financial modeling, and vendor reconciliations & any other as assigned by management.
• Support ERP implementation and financial system upgrades.

2. Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• 8-10 years of experience in financial operations and compliance.

3. Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Excel, and other ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
