Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Management

• Managethe overall finance function and ensure effective financial planning andcontrol.
• Prepareand monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans .
• Developand present monthly MIS and management reports , including varianceanalysis.
• Monitorrevenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.
• Providefinancial insights and recommendations to management for businessdecisions.
• Trackbudgets against actuals and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Managecash flow planning and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
• Supportbusiness leaders with financial analysis, costing, pricing, and investmentdecisions.
• Establishand monitor appropriate financial controls and processes.
• Coordinatewith banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
• Ensuretimely and accurate financial reporting to management.

2. Accounts Oversight

• Overseethe day-to-day accounting activities and provide guidance to the Accountsteam.
• Ensureaccurate maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accountsreceivable, and bank reconciliations .
• Reviewjournal entries, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
• Ensuretimely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
• Overseeinvoicing, collections, vendor payments, and employee-related accountingactivities.
• ReviewGST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinatewith internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Ensureaccounting policies and applicable statutory requirements are followed.

3. Team & Process Management

• Lead,guide, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
• Defineresponsibilities, review performance, and ensure timely completion ofdeliverables.
• Improvefinance and accounting processes through automation and standardization.
• Identifyprocess gaps and implement appropriate controls.
• Ensureproper documentation and adherence to company policies.

Qualification & Experience

• Typically, 8–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with relevantexperience in a Finance Manager role.
• Strongexperience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, MIS, cashflow, and management reporting .
• Goodunderstanding of accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financialcontrols.
• Experiencemanaging and mentoring a Finance & Accounts team.
• Stronganalytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experiencein an IT/ITES/BPO environment would be an advantage.
