Job summary

Xebia in India is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee day-to-day accounting, month-end and year-end closures, and the preparation of statutory financial statements. You will head treasury, taxation, audit, fixed assets, and intercompany activities, while liaising with auditors and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires CA with PQE and strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to manage cross-functional finance teams and drive accounting controls.

Qualifications

• CA with relevant PQE and strong finance and accounting background.
• Experience leading finance, treasury, taxation, audit and fixed assets.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day finance and accounting operations
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end account closures
• Finalize annual financial statements, schedules, and disclosures
• Lead accounting, treasury, taxation, audit, and fixed asset functions
• Liaise directly with internal and external auditors
• Review vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory payments
• Oversee payroll cost review
• Manage escalations across finance and accounts functions
• Drive implementation of finance processes and controls
• Experience with Order to Cash (billing, collections, revenue booking)
• Experience with intercompany accounting and fund transfers
• Ensure statutory compliance (Direct & Indirect Tax, RBI filings)
• Manage company cash flow and banking relationships
• Exposure to ERP/accounting systems and strong MS Office skills
