Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Maharashtra is seeking a seasoned Head – Finance & Accounts to lead the organization’s finance and accounting function, including reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury, audits, and financial planning. The incumbent will work with senior management to drive financial performance and support strategic decisions.

You will oversee statutory compliance, cash flow management, capital planning, and the finance team, with ERP exposure (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).

Qualifications

• CA preferred; MBA Finance or CMA adds advantage.
• 15–25 years of experience in Finance & Accounts with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, treasury, audit, and statutory compliance.
• ERP experience with SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations including general accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and dashboards.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
• Monitor business performance through financial analysis and recommend profitability improvements.
• Oversee direct and indirect taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate and manage internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and cost audits.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and governance processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
• Support business expansion, capital investments, and strategic financial planning.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounts team while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Head – Finance & Accounts to lead the organization’s finance and accounting function. The incumbent will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic business decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA (Finance) or CMA will be an added advantage.
• 15-25 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, treasury, audit, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and drive business-focused financial decisions.
