Job summary

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Support and execute monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities ensuring accuracy and timelines.
• Performing fixed assets and lease accounting activities, creation of accounting schedules, Asset capitalization, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis explanations.
• Ensure accounting and reporting comply with company accounting policies, Accounting and Finance Manual and SOX controls.
• Conduct detailed financial reviews and analyses to ensure integrity, accuracy and completeness of Financial Data.
• Assist in Internal and External Audits by preparing documentation, explanation and supporting schedules.
• Support Initiatives to automate and simplify accounting processes and systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across functions, demonstrating good collaboration skills.
• Maintain effective working relationships through regular interactions, responsiveness and customer centric mindset.

Preferred candidate profile

• 35 years of relevant experience in accounting operations.
• Handson experience with basic accounting (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in fixed assets and leasing processes under US GAAP and local GAAP (advantage).
• Strong knowledge of SAP and S4 HANA would be added advantage.
• Good Knowledge of Excel and other MS office Applications.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
