Job summary

WOW Softech in India is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Controllership (Global Fixed Asset Accounting) to lead end-to-end fixed asset processes across multiple geographies.

The role emphasizes accurate sub-ledger management, timely capitalization and disposals, monthly close, SOX compliance, and close collaboration with global stakeholders; familiarity with Fusion ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end fixed asset accounting across geographies.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets sub-ledger, including capitalization, disposals/retirements, and monthly close processes.
• Oversee asset tracking and drive periodic physical verification to maintain asset register accuracy.
• Ensure fixed asset schedules comply with relevant accounting frameworks.
• Execute monthly close tasks including accrual postings, amortization runs, and reconciliations.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
• Prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and balance sheet movements.
• Create MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management review.
• Ensure adherence to SOX, internal audit, and statutory audit requirements.
• Possess a sound understanding of Indian taxation and related compliance requirements.
• Strong functional knowledge of Fusion ERP (Recommended).

The ideal candidate should have strong domain expertise in global fixed asset processes within an F&A shared service or captive unit of a reputed multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• 1. Manage end-to-end fixed asset accounting activities across multiple geographies with strong command over core accounting principles.
• 2. Ensure completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets sub-ledger, including timely capitalization, disposals/retirements, and monthly close processes (journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments).
• 3. Oversee accurate tracking of existing assets and drive periodic physical verification processes to maintain asset register accuracy.
• 4. Ensure all fixed asset schedules are compliant with relevant accounting frameworks.
• 5. Execute monthly close tasks including accrual postings, amortization runs, and related reconciliations.
• 6. Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
• 7. Prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and balance sheet movements.
