Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing fixed assets, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and assisting in various reporting tasks using Excel. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting processes and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the Fixed Assets Register (FAR) accurately and timely.
• Maintain and manage capital work in progress account accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts (journals, ledgers, bank reconciliation, etc.).
• Monitor and record acquisition, movement, transfer, and disposal of fixed assets.
• Ensure appropriate capitalization of assets in line with accounting standards (IND AS/IFRS).
• Calculate and post depreciation entries monthly or as required.
• Reconcile fixed assets sub-ledger with the general ledger (GL) regularly.
• Assist in physical verification and tagging of fixed assets and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Procurement, Projects, Admin) for asset tracking and updates.
• Prepare fixed assets schedules and reports for internal and external audits.
• Assist in preparing Capex budgets and analyze variances.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and year-end activities related to fixed assets including Capital Work in progress.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and internal control requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance or equivalent).
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets Accounting/Management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially IND AS/IFRS.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software like Tally.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
