Job summary

Zoho in Mumbai seeks an experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting, ensure timely close, and guide the team on asset capitalization and depreciation mapping in SAP.

The role requires CA/CMA/ICWA with 5+ years in Fixed Assets, IndAS knowledge, and strong analytical and reporting skills. Collaboration with IT and Finance is essential for accurate MIS and audits.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/ICWA with at least 5 years' experience in Fixed Assets accounting in SAP.
• Knowledge of IndAs accounting and Big4 audit experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, data entry, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Fixed Assets accounting and guide team with accounting issues.
• Ensure timely creation of IO / WBS and allocation of budget.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of consumption booking and capitalization.
• Coordinate with Technology/ IT/ FSD for understanding nature of asset for mapping depreciation key.
• Do regular GL scrutiny to mitigate risk of wrong/ inaccurate financial reporting.
• Publish timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements.

Job description

To oversee day to dayaccounting of Fixed Assets, Insurance, Inventories and Assets movement,ageing, physical verification, reconciliation and to ensure timely andaccurate Month end / Quarter end / Year end closing and reporting

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To oversee day to day Fixed Assets Accountingand to guide team with accounting issues
• To ensure timely creation of IO / WBS andallocation of budget
• To ensure timely reconciliation of consumptionbooking and capitalisation

4. To coordinate with Technology / IT / FSD/ User team for understanding nature of asset for mapping depreciation key

5. To do regular GL scrutiny to mitigaterisk of wrong/ inaccurate financial reporting

6. To maintain FAR as per Companies Act andIncome Tax Act and ensure that FAR should match with SAP GL balances

7. To conduct quarterly / Periodicverification of inventories at Warehouse and at Partner location

8. To conduct physical verification of FixedAssets on annual basis.

9. To identify the differences and To getthat reconcile with the help user team to ensure to mitigate risk of loss,pilferage and audit risk

10. To ensure periodic updation of data withInsurer to ensure adequate coverage of risk

11. To publish timely and accurate monthlyand annual financial statements.

12. To review and improvise existing MIS onneed basis

13. To ensure smooth closure of all auditsincluding Statutory, Tax, Internal audits and IFC certification

14. To actively participate and contribute inprojects and key initiatives from Finance perspective

CA/CMA/ICW with at least 5years+ experience in Fixed Assets Accounting in SAP environment. Knowledge ofPS module of SAP will be added advantage
