Job summary

EXL is seeking a Senior Executive – Controllership (Global Fixed Assets) to manage end-to-end fixed asset accounting across geographies within a centralized captive setup. You will ensure completeness of the fixed asset sub-ledger, perform month-end closes, and support US GAAP and iGAAP compliance.

You will also handle R2R activities, variance analysis, MIS reports, and management presentations, while maintaining SOX controls and coordinating with global finance teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed asset accounting across geographies.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP (iGAAP).
• Experience with SOX controls and R2R processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the Fixed Asset sub-ledger, including capitalization and retirements.
• Execute month-end close activities for fixed assets: journal entries, reconciliations, depreciation/amortization, variance explanations.
• Support compliance of fixed asset schedules with US GAAP and local GAAP (i-GAAP).
• Perform Record-to-Report activities such as accruals, amortization, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Prepare qualitative variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and Balance Sheet movements related to fixed assets.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations for internal reviews.
• Adhere to SOX controls, internal policies, and statutory guidelines; maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with global finance teams to resolve accounting queries and support reviews.
• Work on ERP systems (Oracle / Oracle Fusion) for transaction processing, accounting, and reporting.

The role will support end‑to‑end fixed asset accounting processes across multiple geographies, ensure accurate accounting and compliance, and work closely with global stakeholders as part of a centralized captive setup
