Job summary

The Edrington Group in India (Gurgaon) is seeking a qualified finance professional to lead Financial Planning & Analysis and decision support for the India Commercial and Marketing teams. The role focuses on budgeting, reporting, audits, pricing, profitability analysis, and brand investments.

You will analyze data, drive monthly closures, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and coach teams on finance processes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and validate sales, marketing, brand, customer profitability and distributor financial data.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, O&R cycles, and monthly MIS reports for decision-making.
• Account for and manage customer claims.
• Support delivery of India business strategy and provide financial insights.
• Coach commercial and marketing teams on finance processes and compliance.
• Manage month-end journals, GL ownership, account maintenance, and clearing activities.
• Manage POs, GRNs of the commercial and marketing teams, and maintain the C-Form tracker with customer follow-ups.
• Coordinate with sub-distributors, SSC UK, internal teams, auditors, and wider MEAI/Group stakeholders.
• Monitor procurement controls and compliance, with focus on Commercial and A&P spend; support VAT/CST compliance and SAP testing.
• Act as backup for team responsibilities, including VAT/CST submissions and other month-end activities.

The role reports to the Principal Finance Analyst and is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, Decision Support to India Commercial and Marketing team.
