Job summary

Eaton in Pune, India is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as an IC, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Business Operations and Senior Management across sites and regions to plan, record, analyze and report financial conditions.

The role focuses on data-driven insights, dashboarding with Power BI and SQL, and presenting monthly results with forecasts and strategy; 3-5 years in manufacturing finance preferred; strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional skills.

Qualifications

• Master in Business Administration- Finance.
• Mathematics, Statistics, Economics Graduate with core-finance experience.
• Accounting major (B.Com) & CA/ICWA/CFA.
• 3-5 years of experience – manufacturing industry exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, record, analyze and report on the financial conditions of the Division.
• Develop senior management presentations including Finance, Operations, Marketing and others as necessary.
• Provide enhanced data-driven insights into finance function.
• Support plant & division in routine financial analysis & reporting as required.
• Assignments will include planned and ad-hoc projects.

Financial Analysis & Strategy

• Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Prepare and present monthly financial results, forecasts, and strategic commentary using advanced analytics
• Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Develop scenario-based financial models to support monthly forecasting and annual profit plan, and predictive analytics to improve decision-making
• Operational Performance Analytics: Analyze key business metrics using statistical models, forecasting, and cloud-based dashboards

Finance & Data Analytics Transformation

• Leverage Cloud & BI Tools: Utilize Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based financial systems to create real-time financial dashboards and automate reporting
• Financial Data Application and Insights: Work with large datasets across multiple platforms to enable self-service analytics for business leaders
• Data Modelling & Visualization: Build predictive models and data visualization frameworks to support strategic finance initiatives
• Collaboration with Digital Finance: Work closely with Digital Finance and Innovation team to apply structured financial datasets and analytical solutions to FP&A processes, ensuring business impact

Qualifications
