Job summary

Edrington in India seeks a qualified finance professional for the Gurugram team. The role reports to the Principal Finance Analyst and is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, and decision support to the India Commercial and Marketing team.

You will support financial planning and reporting processes, internal and statutory audits, monthly closure of financials, pricing, profitability and brand investment analysis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyse and validate sales, marketing, brand, customer profitability and distributor financial data.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, O&R cycles, and monthly MIS reports.
• Account for and manage customer claims.
• Support delivery of India business strategy and provide financial insights.
• Coach commercial and marketing teams on finance processes and compliance.
• Manage month-end journals, GL ownership, account maintenance, and clearing activities.
• Manage POs, GRNs of the commercial and marketing teams, and maintain the C-Form tracker with customer follow-ups.
• Coordinate with sub-distributors, SSC UK, internal teams, auditors, and wider MEAI/Group stakeholders.
• Monitor procurement controls and compliance, with focus on Commercial and A&P spend; support VAT/CST compliance and SAP testing.
• Act as backup for team responsibilities, including VAT/CST submissions and other month-end activities.
