  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of payroll, international tax filings, statutory filings.

Finance, Accounting & Payroll Professionals

Position Summary: KBR is seeking experienced Finance and Accounting professionals across multiple levels to support global operations. Opportunities may include Accounting, Financial Reporting, Payroll Administration, Tax Compliance, Project Setup, Audit, Accounts Reconciliation, Financial Controls and Operational Finance functions. 4 to 12 years of relevant experience. Successful candidates will contribute to maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, supporting business operations, and driving continuous process improvements.

Basic Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in Accounting, Finance Operations, Payroll, Tax, Audit, Project Accounting, or related functions.
  • Experience supporting accounting/ payroll operations for the Middle East, Asia Pacific, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and/or Canada
  • Experience working in a shared services or global payroll environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems/ERP platforms.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge in Payroll, international tax filings, statutory filings
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, Deltek, Costpoint, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of US Federal/State Tax regulations, payroll legislation, project accounting, or audit processes.
  • Experience supporting multinational or shared services environments.
  • Continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization experience.
  • Exposure to Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) controls, audit support activities, or internal compliance processes.
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project maintenance activities, and charge number controls.
