• Preventive maintenance skills including routine inspections, calibration, and upkeep of laser or similar industrial machinery.
• Strong customer service skills with clear communication and professional relationships.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and schematics; familiarity with electrical safety and industrial standards.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work both independently and in a team.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Bengaluru North. The Field Services Engineer will install, commission, and maintain laser machines at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing technical support both on-site and remotely. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with internal engineering and sales teams, and supporting training for customers on machine operation and safety. The engineer is expected to manage service visits efficiently, maintain high standards of customer service, and follow all safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong field service skills, including hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning, and on‑site support of industrial equipment.
• Candidates should possess troubleshooting and technical support skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including fault diagnosis and problem resolution.
• Candidates should possess preventive maintenance skills, including routine inspections, calibration, and upkeep of laser or similar industrial machinery.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain professional relationships.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with CNC machinery, laser systems, automation, or industrial manufacturing equipment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; familiarity with basic electrical safety and industrial standards.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, strong time management, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
