Job summary

Excel Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain life-saving medical equipment across hospital locations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The role requires hands-on work, problem-solving and a customer-first mindset.

You will travel frequently to client sites, perform on-site diagnostics, installations, and preventive maintenance, and maintain detailed service records while coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical service roles is highly desirable.
• Freshers with passion for medical devices are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience with medical device equipment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electronics, electrical circuits and mechanical systems.
• Excellent verbal communication to interact with hospital staff.
• Willing to travel across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site troubleshooting, emergency repair and preventive maintenance.
• Install and commission medical devices at hospital sites.
• Prepare service documentation, field reports, and customer sign-offs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to track spare parts and updates.
• Be the primary technical contact to minimize equipment downtime.

About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the technical face of our company, playing a critical role in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of life-saving medical equipment. This is a field-based position that requires hands-on work, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset. The company's location is Hyderabad, and the position requires frequent travel across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh whenever a service is requested.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide timely, effective, and high-quality troubleshooting, emergency repair, and preventive maintenance services on-site.
• Execute the complete end-to-end installation and commissioning of medical devices at various hospital and healthcare locations.
• Maintain, update, and submit accurate service documentation, field installation reports, and customer sign-offs in a timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams to track spare parts inventory, request components, and provide service delivery updates.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients to ensure minimal equipment downtime and build strong professional rapport with hospital staff and doctors.

• Absolute willingness to travel extensively across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to work independently on the field.

Education Qualification

• Educational background in ITI, Polytechnic, Diploma, or a Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Medical Devices, or a related technical field.

Travel allowances will be provided when travelling to different locations for field work.
