Job summary

Satcop is seeking a Field Technician to install and service GPS tracking devices and telematics equipment at customer locations. The role requires basic technical know-how, good communication, and willingness to travel across sites in Bengaluru and surrounding areas.

You will perform installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site support, while keeping accurate records and coordinating with Operations for timely issue resolution. A valid two-wheeler license is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, or related field is required.
• 2-5 years of field service or technical support (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of installed devices.
• Visit customer sites for service calls and technical support.
• Conduct device testing and ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain service records and installation reports.
