Job summary

Zenergize Power Tech Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Field Service Engineer to support customers across multiple cities with extensive field travel.

You will diagnose faults in EV chargers and solar inverters, train installers, and log service activities in the ticketing system. The role requires a Diploma/B.Tech in electrical fields, 1–4 years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel to customer sites. Strong communication in Hindi and English is essential, with a valid driving license and

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech/BE in Electrical, Electronics or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in technical support, service or installation for solar inverters, UPS, EV chargers or similar electrical products.
• Good understanding of AC/DC circuits, wiring, earthing and protection devices (MCB, SPD, RCCB).
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email); CRM/ticketing experience is a plus.
• Clear Hindi and English communication; able to guide non-technical customers by phone.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours for urgent breakdowns.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical queries from customers, dealers and installers by phone, email and WhatsApp, and resolve issues within agreed timelines.
• Diagnose inverter and EV charger faults remotely using error codes, monitoring apps and troubleshooting steps.
• Log every complaint in the ticketing system and track it through to closure with clear root cause and fix records.
• Train dealers, installers and channel partners on installing, configuring and maintaining Zenergize products.
• Keep a record of spares used in the field and share service reports weekly and monthly.
• Follow safety procedures at every site and ensure installations meet Zenergize's standards.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or B.Tech/BE in Electrical, Electronics or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 1-4 years of experience in technical support, service or installation for solar inverters, UPS, power electronics, EV chargers or similar electrical products
• Good understanding of AC/DC circuits, wiring, earthing, protection devices (MCB, SPD, RCCB) and basic power electronics
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email). Experience with a ticketing or CRM tool is a plus.
• Clear communication in Hindi and English along with regional language, with the patience to guide non-technical customers by phone.
• Willing to travel to customer and installer sites, and to work flexible hours when there's an urgent breakdown.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred
