The Solar Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain solar PV panels, inverters, batteries, and mounting systems
• Perform site inspections and system testing before and after installation
• Diagnose and repair system faults, electrical issues, and performance problems
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system upgrades
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients as required
• Follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Proven experience in solar PV installation or electrical work
