Job summary

Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited in Kolkata seeks a dynamic Senior Engineer/Engineer- Sales to drive channel sales of LV drives in the East region and meet order booking targets.

The role includes pre-bid tie-ups with EPCs for government tenders, developing relationships with key customers across metal, mining, steel, power and OEMs, and ensuring timely payment collection. 5–7 years of front-end sales experience is required.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics preferred.
• 5–7 years field sales experience in LV drives.
• Experience with EPCs/government tenders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet order booking targets for LV/MV Drives from Kolkata.
• Build relationships with end customers across metal, mining, steel, power, oil, OEMs.
• Develop fixed regular orders through channels and major OEMs.
• Conduct product introduction seminars across industries.
• Educate EPCs and consultants on new drives range.
• Support partners to book orders and secure regular OEMs.
• Provide industry-specific solutions via value addition.
• Forecasting, channel reviews, OEM applications, and sales targets.
