Job summary
Lead Hr Services in Chennai is seeking a Field Quality Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to address field failures and customer complaints at dealer and customer locations.
The role involves analyzing failures, identifying root causes, preparing 8D/ CAPA reports, and coordinating with Production, Design, Service and Supplier Quality teams to drive containment and timely closure of issues, including warranty analysis and PPV.
Qualifications
- Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
- Minimum 1–4 years field quality experience in automotive sector.
- Willingness to visit dealer/customer sites for issue resolution.

- Handle field failures and customer complaints.
- Visit dealer/customer locations for quality issues.
- Analyze failed parts and vehicle failures to identify causes.
- Identify root cause (RCA) and implement 8D/CAPA.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Service, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Monitor warranty claims and ensure timely closure.
- Track field issues and implement containment actions.
- Conduct Post Production Validation (PPV) and assess product reliability.
