Job summary

Shavish Group in Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support day-to-day quality inspection and control on the shop floor, monitor process parameters, and uphold quality standards. The role includes root cause analysis, internal audits, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will prepare daily/weekly quality reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint, maintain inspection records, and engage with customers and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Automobile Engineering
• 1 year of experience; freshers with relevant academic projects/internships can be considered
• Strong interest in Quality and Automotive Manufacturing
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of basic quality tools: 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, Pareto Analysis
• Basic understanding of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC and MSA
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment
