Job summary

Mace is seeking a proactive Field Engineer (Systems) to oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and site supervision for the NDLS project in New Delhi. The role focuses on ELV and Building Systems across CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA, BMS/IBMS, cabling, data networks and AV systems.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in Rail/Metro or Airport projects, with a minimum of 3 years on similar works.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Rail/Metro or Airport project.
• Experience supervising ELV and Building Systems installations.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV and Building Systems works at project sites.
• Monitor execution of systems works including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, BMS, IBMS, Structured Cabling, Data Networks, and AV Systems.
• Ensure systems installations are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and other engineering disciplines for seamless project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and report on installation status, risks, and delays.
• Witness pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities for systems packages.
• Verify compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Ensure contractors adhere to approved quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues to avoid project delays.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection records, snag lists, and punch point trackers.
• Support project management teams in achieving project milestones and delivery schedules.
• Assist in system integration activities between various ELV and MEP systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during testing, commissioning, training, and final handover phases.

Location - New Delhi

Project - NDLS( New Delhi Railway Station Redevelopment).

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory requirement: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Rail/Metro or Airport project.
