Job summary

Powerconz is seeking an on-site ELV Project Supervisor in Madipakkam, Chennai with 2–3 years of hands-on ELV experience. You will supervise a small team, read drawings, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors on CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA/voice evacuation, data networks, and BMS/IBMS cabling at project sites.

You will ensure adherence to quality and safety, manage materials, and maintain site records while supporting testing, commissioning, and handover

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECE/EEE/Electrical/Electronics is required.
• 2–3 years of hands-on ELV project experience.
• Willing to work at construction sites.
• Ability to supervise a small team and report progress clearly.
• Ability to understand basic ELV drawings.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day ELV works at project sites.
• Understand drawings and carry out work as per approved drawings.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractor workers at site.
• Coordinate with the client, consultant, main contractor and other site teams.
• Handle systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA/Voi ce Evac, Data & Networking, BMS/IBMS cabling, Intercoms.
• Check cable laying, conduit, tray, termination and equipment installation.
• Ensure work is completed with quality and safety.
• Check materials received at site and report shortages.
• Prepare daily work progress updates.
• Maintain site records on material usage, manpower and completed work.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Follow up with project team for drawings, materials and clearances.
• Identify site problems and inform the Project Manager.
• Support testing and commissioning of ELV systems.
• Prepare snag lists and close pending works.
• Coordinate inspection and handover of completed works.

Candidate We are Looking For

A suitable candidate should be hands-on and comfortable working at construction sites, not only familiar with office/design work. He should be able to independently supervise a small team, understand basic ELV drawings, coordinate with other contractors and report site progress clearly.

Programming/configuration expertise will be added advantage.
