Job summary

  • Support delivery and execution of project interventions at village level.
  • Ensure regular follow-up within the community for ongoing activities.

Skills

Position Requirements
  • Required experience in NTFP sector, including exposure to aggregation or market linkage

Job Description

The Field Assistant will primarily support NTFP (Non-Timber Forest Produce) interventions, including aggregation and market linkage activities. In addition, the role will assist in agriculture and allied livelihood activities at the village level. The position requires close engagement with rural and forest-dependent communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of NTFP-based livelihood interventions (major focus area)
  • Facilitate aggregation, primary processing, and market linkage of NTFP
  • Support agriculture and allied activities at village level as required
  • Train Village Development Committee (VDC) members on project objectives and sustainability aspects
  • Mobilize and engage rural communities for active participation in project activities
  • Support delivery and execution of project interventions at village level
  • Ensure regular follow-up within the community for ongoing activities
  • Maintain documentation, field records, and basic reports
  • Perform any other duty assigned for promoting the vision and mission of the organization
