Assistant Program Lead – Hyderabad, Telangana

Position Requirements
- Master’s degree in Agriculture, Water Management, or Rural Development from a reputed institute.
- Good communication skills in Telugu, English, and Hindi.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in project management and implementation.
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong liaison skills with government departments and other stakeholders.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision.
- Willingness to travel across project areas.
- Fluency in Telugu (mandatory); working knowledge of Hindi and/or English.
Job Description
The Assistant Program Lead will oversee the implementation of programs/projects focusing on agriculture, livelihood, water management, community leadership, digital literacy, youth leadership, and strengthening panchayats. The role involves coordinating with government officers, community leaders, NGOs, and elected representatives, preparing reports and proposals, monitoring field activities, and ensuring alignment with the foundation’s vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor field activities and ensure quality and timelines.
- Organize training programs for team members to build capacity on various themes.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with government officers, community leaders, NGOs, and elected representatives.
- Prepare narrative and financial reports on the projects.
- Remain abreast of government policies and programs.
- Prepare project proposals and budgets for donors.
- Network and liaise with government departments, KVKs, universities, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the Foundation in workshops, conferences, and seminars.
- Prepare information and communication materials in Hindi and English on various project themes.
- Work for the sustainability of current and past projects.
- Ensure compliance with the Foundation’s vision, mission, values, culture, policies, and procedures.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the organization.
