Job summary

Careerist Management Consultants is seeking a technically adept professional to lead pre-sales and post-sales application support in genomics and laboratory automation. The role involves demonstrations, training and validating lab workflows across NGS and drug discovery domains.

You will develop and automate workflows, assist with library prep and liquid handling, and provide expert guidance on troubleshooting. Travel across India is expected to support customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales and post-sales application support in life sciences or genomics.
• Knowledge of genomics, NGS, drug discovery, and laboratory automation.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in developing or validating laboratory workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales and post-sales application support, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, installations, validations and user training.
• Develop, optimize and validate laboratory workflows across genomics, molecular biology, NGS, drug discovery, sample preparation and laboratory automation applications.
• Support the implementation and automation of NGS library preparation, PCR/qPCR, liquid handling and sample preparation workflows.
• Provide expert technical guidance on liquid handling, laboratory automation and sample management solutions, including workflow design and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with Sales and Distribution teams to identify opportunities, support technical evaluations and accelerate opportunity conversion and closure.
• Develop and maintain application protocols, validation reports, technical documentation and workflow resources for customer and internal use.
• Conduct customer training, workshops, seminars and webinars, communicating complex scientific and technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Build strong relationships with customers, KOLs, research institutions and strategic collaborators, supporting scientific collaborations and application development.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback, competitive intelligence and market insights to support product development, positioning and commercial strategy.
• Collaborate with global application and technical teams to transfer new applications, workflows and product knowledge into the Indian market.
• Identify and develop new application areas, customer segments and market opportunities, working with Sales on strategic business development initiatives.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, scientific events and customer forums, including delivery of technical presentations and application findings.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of the complete product portfolio and provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support across instruments, workflows and software.
• Travel extensively across India to support customer engagements, demonstrations, installations, training and business development activities.
