Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, empathetic and student-focused K-12 English Faculty to teach students from State Boards, particularly Himachal Pradesh Board students, through Filo's online teaching setup from the Gurugram office. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of teaching experience along with prior online teaching experience. The candidate should be comfortable teaching bilingually in Hindi and English and should have experience in preparing PPTs and digital content for effective online teaching.

What you'll do

• English Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective K-12 English classes aligned with the State Board/Himachal Pradesh Board curriculum.
• Bilingual Teaching: Teach and explain English concepts effectively in both Hindi and English, according to the student's learning level and requirements.
• Online Teaching: Conduct live online classes from Filo's Gurugram office using digital teaching tools and an online teaching setup.
• Student Engagement: Create an interactive and student-friendly learning environment and ensure students understand concepts clearly.
• Content & PPT Preparation: Prepare structured PPTs, lesson plans and digital teaching content to support engaging and effective online classes.
• Doubt Resolution: Address students' academic doubts and provide clear explanations to strengthen their understanding of English concepts.
• Curriculum Alignment: Ensure lesson plans, teaching content and classroom delivery are aligned with the relevant State Board/Himachal Pradesh Board syllabus.
• Student Performance: Identify students' learning gaps and provide appropriate guidance and feedback to improve their academic performance.
• Learning Experience: Maintain a positive, patient and student-focused online classroom environment.

What we're looking for

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to explain English concepts clearly and effectively.
• Teaching Experience: 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience in K-12 English.
• Online Teaching Experience: Prior experience in online teaching is required, preferably using digital teaching tools/online classroom setups.
• Board Experience: Experience teaching State Board students is required. Experience with Himachal Pradesh Board students will be preferred.
• Bilingual Teaching: Ability to teach students bilingually in Hindi and English and adapt teaching methodology according to students' learning needs.
• Content & PPT Preparation: Hands-on experience in preparing PPTs, lesson plans and digital content for online teaching.
• Digital Teaching Skills: Comfortable using online teaching tools, digital whiteboards/pen-tab setups and other technology required for virtual classrooms.
• Student-focused approach: Patient, empathetic and passionate about teaching, with the ability to make English concepts simple, engaging and easy to understand.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods according to different student learning levels and requirements.
• Availability: Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• Work Schedule: Willingness to work 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, from the office.
• Location: Candidate must be willing to work from Filo's Gurugram office, as teaching will be conducted through the office-based online setup.
