Job summary

Sun Chem India is seeking a skilled Factory HR professional to oversee HR operations at our Palghar manufacturing plant. The candidate will lead end-to-end factory recruitment, ensure GMP compliance, manage onboarding and training, and coordinate with plant heads to meet manpower needs.

The role requires at least 4 years in factory HR in beauty or pharma industries, strong knowledge of payroll, statutory compliance (PF/ESIC/Gratuity), and a proactive approach to employee welfare and safety

Qualifications

• 4+ years of factory HR experience in a manufacturing setup.
• GMP standards experience and HR compliance knowledge.
• Experience with statutory payroll processes (PF, ESIC, Gratuity) and Factory Act.
• Based in Palghar, willing to work at the plant site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for factory-level positions, from blue-collar to technical roles.
• Ensure GMP compliance and HR protocols are followed across the plant.
• Manage onboarding, induction, and training of plant employees.
• Handle statutory and labor law compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Factory Act.
• Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and welfare initiatives at the plant.
• Maintain HRMS and personnel records; coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
• Implement safety, health, and workplace discipline policies aligned with company standards.
• Liaise with corporate HR to ensure factory practices align with overall HR strategy.

Sun Chem India, a legacy manufacturer with over 30 years of expertise in the beauty and personal care industry, is looking for a Factory HR professional to manage HR operations at our Palghar manufacturing plant. We are seeking someone with strong experience in GMP practices and factory-level recruitment.

Location: Palghar, Maharashtra

Industry Preference: Beauty, Cosmetics, or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Experience Required: 4+ years in a factory HR role

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for factory-level positions, from blue-collar to senior-level technical roles
• Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HR protocols
• Manage onboarding, induction, and training of plant employees
• Handle statutory and labor law compliance, including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Factory Act regulations
• Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and welfare initiatives at the plant
• Maintain and update HRMS and personnel records regularly
• Coordinate with department heads to fulfill manpower requirements efficiently
• Implement safety, health, and workplace discipline policies in line with company and legal standards
• Liaise with corporate HR to align factory practices with organizational HR strategy

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setup (beauty/pharma preferred)
• Well-versed in GMP standards and HR compliance
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, HRMS tools, and factory documentation processes
• Ability to work independently and handle plant-level responsibilities
