Job summary

Vrinda Global seeks a hands-on Facility Manager in Pune to oversee day-to-day technical facility operations and ensure uninterrupted building services.

You will monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG, UPS, fire and life-safety systems, coordinate maintenance with technicians and vendors, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

Regular site inspections, safety compliance, and reporting via MIS will be part of the role, with emphasis on uptime, reliability and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day technical facility operations and ensure uninterrupted building services.
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG, UPS, pumps, fire & life-safety systems and other MEP services.
• Handle technical complaints through helpdesk/ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
• Monitor BMS for alarms, equipment status, temperature, energy consumption and other building parameters.
• Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, contractors and external vendors for breakdown and preventive maintenance.
• Plan and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify equipment/maintenance issues.
• Coordinate for AMC activities, vendor visits, service reports and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain records of equipment, maintenance history, checklists, logbooks and technical reports.
• Monitor DG sets, electrical panels, HT/LT systems, UPS, batteries and power distribution.
• Coordinate HVAC operations including AHU, FCU, chillers, pumps and ventilation systems.
• Ensure plumbing, drainage, water supply and other utility systems are functioning properly.
• Support fire & life-safety system inspections, testing and maintenance.
• Raise PR/PO/service requests and coordinate with procurement/vendors where required.
• Track breakdowns, complaints, pending jobs and escalation through the helpdesk.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and facility maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with clients/occupants and provide timely updates on technical issues.
